U organizaciji Alte, osnivač i vlasnik firme gosp. Drago Diklić uspješno je 11 godina vodio festival zabavne glazbe Zagrebfest. Osmislio je i organizirao prvi doček Nove godine, 1988.-89. na Trgu Bana Jelačića, te organizirao niz koncerata i glazbenih događanja.
Alta, along with Croatia Records, former Jugoton, is one of the oldest Croatian record companies. It was founded in 1968. as a public enterprise, because at that time private enterprises of the Western type were illegal in former Yugoslavia. Alta, as a music producers group, was originally intended to operate within the framework of the Jugoton company. However, Jugoton's management did not consider such a cooperation necessary and Alta started on its own. Owing to democratic changes that took place in Croatia during the nineties, the official attitude towards private business entrepreneurship changed dramatically, and, as a result, Alta and Croatia Records cooperate nowadays with great success.
Along with its main activities – as a company for music production and an agency for organization of various musical events - Alta has been expanding its business undertakings into other fields, in accordance with its broad business activity register. Consequently, new business groups for marketing, tourism, trade, and real estate brokerage have been formed.
Mr. Drago Diklić, the founder and owner of Alta and a renowned Croatian jazz and ballad singer and composer, for 11 years acted as a very successful art director of the Zagrebfest, a famous popular music festival held in the capital of Croatia. In December 1988, Mr. Diklić conceived and organized the New Year's celebration for a mass audience at the Zagreb Ban Jelačić Square. In addition, using Alta's valuable assets, Mr. Diklić organized a number of concerts and other musical events throughout Croatia in the past decades.
